Day 1  Fly to Lima from Bristol via Amsterdam and Bonaire

 

Day 2  Drive from Lima to Huaraz

 

Day 3  Acclimatisation

 

 

Day 4  Acclimatisation

   

 

Day 5  Drive from Huaraz to Quero via Chiquian and start trek to Pomapata

   

   

 

Day 6  Walk from Pomapata to Valley of the Condors

     

 

Day 7  Walk to Quartelhuin

     

     

 

Day 8  Walk to Janca

       

 

Day 9  Walk to Laguna Carhuacocha

Day 11  Walk to Huayhuash

 

 

Day 12  Walk to below Punta Cuyoc

     

 

 

Day 13  Cross Punta Cuyoc

     

   

 

Day 14  Cross Cerro San Antonio pass to Cutatambo and Laguna Jurau

     

     

         

   

 

Day 15  Walk to Laguna Sarapo and down Rio Calinca (via 'Touching the Void' base camp - splendid views of Siula Grande)

Day 17  Walk up Cerro Jyamy - excellent views of Yerupaja, Huascaran and Siula Grande

Day 20  Walk to Pocpa and drive to Huaraz

     

   

 

Day 21  Drive from Huaraz to Lima
