PLANNED GIVING

This page gives some information about Planned Giving at St Mary's and St Paul's Churches, Thornbury.

There are two ways in which it is possible participate.  One is to pay by standing order on a regular basis.  In this way, your bank account is automatically debited with the chosen regular amount until specified otherwise.  You can print a blank Banker’s Order (click here), complete it and send it off to your bank.

The other way is to use the envelope scheme.  Envelopes can be used to pay any amount at any time at church, either in the offertory collection or in a wall safe.  If you would like to pay using the envelope scheme, then please let the Planned Giving Recorder know (send an e-mail to mike.elcock(at)blueyonder.co.uk) and he can send you pre-numbered envelopes which you can use.  Alternatively, you can use the envelopes in church.

Whichever method is used, for tax-payers, the church can benefit further through claiming Gift Aid on all donations.  This can be done by completing the Gift Aid declaration (click here) and returning it to the Planned Giving Recorder (the address is on the form).
